Cook Islands Police Patrol Vessel

Boarding team members from the Cook Islands Police Patrol Vessel ‘Te Kukupa’ have been issued overtly worn KR1 stab resistant vests manufactured by PPSS Group.

Their personal safety was and is paramount and such equipment was needed for their protection and safety while conducting boarding duties.

The Police selected PPSS Stab Resistant Vests based on their lightness and the exceptional blunt force trauma protection they offer. Another factor was unlike Kevlar type vests, PPSS moulded poly-carbonate panels do not absorb water which is an important safety consideration when working on / around water.
